Here's What You Owe . . .
Nothing.
Yep. Really. You owe nothing. I'm not saying that you can't provide an additional donation if you don't want to, but you don't owe anything.
Now, just for the record my estimate of $550 per person for the trip was not too too far off, if conservative as expected. The total expense for the trip was $9,091 or $364 per person (which doesn't include personal expenses such as lunch on the way there and back, crawfish for Gene and Sonic for Ken). Much of this cost was offset by donations to the church, and your initial deposits for the plane tickets. I'm not aware of the final tally of donations, but they were solid.
So you are done if you want to be. But I do know that some of you were expecting and would like to make a contribution to this effort and please feel free to. Just note in the memo line of the check, "Mission to Mississippi" and it will be directed there. Also note, that we (Park Valley Church) will incur expenses in getting the current Operation Waveland donated materials down to Mississippi.
I'm sure all of you are aware of the times that the Operation Waveland pod is open (and are already volunteering), but if you haven't signed up yet, Bryan mentioned to me this morning that he is looking for help on Saturdays. Shoot him an email at bryan@parkvalleychurch.com to let him know of your interest/availability. Here's a pretty rough (camera phone) picture I took today of the pod at Alvey. I'll replace with a better one later.

A final note - for those of you that had direct expenses (rental cars, gas, etc.) your receipts have been submitted and you should receive a check at church this coming week. Sorry it has taken this long.
