July Update from the Williams

Yes, I know its confusing that we support two missionary families with the last name of the Williams, but this is an update from Tony & Heather who are serving in Nicaragua. Please read on.

Dear friends,

Things have been very hectic lately between doctor's appointments and travel. Please allow me to share what has been happening with the Williams family.

Heather's Health
As you know, we returned to the US in February due to Heather's health. We are very thankful to the Lord that she has been restored. Thank you for your prayers on her behalf. We look forward to visiting some churches before heading back to the mission field.

We've moved on from Tennessee
Pastor Rob Hoffman and the folks at Victory Baptist Church in Maryville, Tennessee have been great hosts during a great time of need. We will forever be indebted to them for their love and generosity.

Nicaragua News
In our absence, several have stepped in to help out. Keni & Vanessa Epp and Donna Woodson work as part of Brian & Rachael Weed's ministry in the capital, Managua. They have been faithful traveling to Leon each weekend. Keni & Vanessa have just emerged from language school. It might seem like jumping into the deep end of the pool to learn to swim, but teaching and preaching gives you great experience. Just this last week, 3 precious souls accepted Christ.

Mexico Trip
Heather and I were invited to Mexico City by BBF missionaries, Ed & Anita Hoagland. We first me Ed & Anita during our internship at University Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. University is the sending church for both of our families.
God has blessed the Hoaglands efforts in their 23 years ministering in one of the world's largest cities. They have developed a Bible Institute that meets in the evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Many of these graduates have started churches within Mexico City. Currently, the Hoaglands oversee 8 mission works. Four years ago, they began an exciting campaign for reaching their city called 7-10-10. The goal is to begin 10 churches and 10 missions in the next 7 years.
Five years ago, the Lord opened up a partnership with the Rawlings Foundation in starting a camp. This summer, along with the collective efforts of several missionaries, the camp will host 2400 unsaved middle school students. Heather and I helped pass out literature and talk to kids about going to camp.

As always, we are thankful to you, our faithful supporters, for all that you do. We never tire of saying thank you.
